Treatment Overview

Pre Treatment Care

  • Avoid sun exposure for at least 2–4 weeks before treatment.

  • Discontinue use of retinoids, acids (AHAs/BHAs), and exfoliants 5–7 days prior to your appointment.

  • Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or other facial treatments for at least 4 weeks before your session.

  • Come to your appointment with clean skin — no makeup, lotions, perfumes, or other skincare products.

Post Treatment Care

  • First 48 Hours After Treatment Expect redness, mild bleeding and oozing, swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation – this is normal and part of the healing process.

  • Clean the treated area every 2 to 3 hours using a diluted white vinegar solution (typically 1 tablespoon of white vinegar mixed with 1 cup of cool, distilled water).

  • Gently pat the skin dry with a clean, soft towel – do not rub.

  • Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or a recommended healing ointment immediately after cleansing to keep the skin moist and protected.

  • Avoid touching, scratching, or picking at the treated area to prevent infection and scarring.

  • You can continue using your usual cleanser moisturiser and SPF after the skin has scabbed. This usually happens on day 3.

  •  Avoid sun exposure – wear a wide-brimmed hat and apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ once the skin has healed enough for sunscreen use (typically after day 5–7).

  • Do not use makeup until the skin is healed (typically after day 5–7).

  • Recovery varies based on the intensity of your treatment, but most patients experience redness, swelling, and peeling for typically 5 to 7 days. You may need to avoid sun exposure and modify your skincare routine for up to 2 weeks to allow your skin to heal properly.

  • CO2 fractional laser resurfacing is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that uses a laser to create microscopic channels in the skin, stimulating collagen production and replacing damaged skin with healthy, smoother tissue. It effectively treats fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, and uneven skin tone.

  • Discomfort is minimal to moderate, depending on the treatment depth. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and in some cases, a local anesthetic or cooling device may be used to enhance comfort during the procedure.

  • Many clients see noticeable results after just one treatment, especially for moderate signs of aging or scarring. However, deeper wrinkles or more severe skin issues may require a series of treatments spaced several months apart for optimal results.

  • Initial improvements can be seen once the skin heals, typically within 7–10 days. Full results, including tighter skin and improved texture, continue to develop over the next 3–6 months as collagen rebuilds. Results can last several years with proper skincare and sun protection.
